14th Australasian Remote Sensing & Photogrammetry Conference
The ARSPC is the RS&P Commission’s premier conference showcasing the best of Australasia’s technical and application driven remote sensing and photogrammetry research. The conference also plays an important role in presenting research and future directions from around the globe to RS&P Commission members and the wider Australasian spatial community. The program will include interactive pre-conference workshops, field trips, diverse application based sessions and networking events.

Complex Systems Science Symposium
Patterns in our planet: defining new concepts for the application of multiscale non-equilibrium thermodynamics to earth system science. This conference will facilitate a concerted collaborative effort from the mathematical, mechanical, geoscience, atmospheric and marine modelling communities to overcome challenges and ensure a breakthrough in comprehensive earth system modelling.
Fifth International Congress of Nematology
The Fifth International Congress of Nematology (5ICN) will bring together researchers in the field of nematology to exchange information and ideas. Held every six years under the auspices of the International Federation of Nematology Societies, and in 2008 hosted by the Australasian Association of Nematologists, the Fifth International Congress of Nematology (5ICN) brings together all those interested in nematodes and their management. The aim of the conference is to foster collaboration, communication, awareness and research about nematodes through bringing all those concerned together to exchange information and ideas. Sessions may include: * nematodes associated with plants, insects and other invertebrates * systematics * molecular techniques * extension * quarantine * control options * biocontrol using nematodes * nematodes in terrestrial soils, freshwater habitats, marine and estuarine sediments * biogeography * ecological interactions.
